Winter OST

Wazzaaa!

Like many other people, I’m feeling perfectly happy/excited/euphoric because of the “extreme” winter we’re having here in Belgium. Waking up in a snow covered landscape for i-lost-the-count-?? days is just such a lovely humbling experience. I know many people freeze to dead, others may have a very difficult job at the moment because of the coldness.. so it’s not all good. But, still, I love it.

Compared to many other countries, it’s still next to nothing though. 10 cm (4 inches) is not exactly deep. And more often than not, it’s less. But anyways… 

It reminds me of the record I made during January 2009. Almost 2 years ago now, it’s insane how fast time flies by. The record was called ‘Winter’ and seems like a perfect companion to some winterwandering. Music + wintry landscapes = winner. 

Wherever it’s cold, I hope you’re having warm. Wherever there is snow, I hope your spending time outside.

“Winter” Sold Out - What to do?

The 31 copies of January are sold out. I have no clue what to do, they sold out within a few hours from the newsletter that anounced the record, which is kind of weird but awesome. For the “record”: I did not expect this to happen, I figured it would sell out, in a month or so - which would have been ideal to be honest - but within a few hours is not what I intended. It’s very cool, but also a little “annoying” because it does leave quite some people that wanted to order one, but now I can’t send them.

Should I break the limited rule, and make an additional 19 copies so it’s a limited edition of 50 instead of 31? 50 is still pretty limited, and at least everyone that really wants one, can have one. The 31st will still be numbered to x/31 - the others could have a number “2nd edition 1/19” and whatever. I don’t know. I always feel limited is annoying when it’s too limited, but useful to always move forward.

Also; some people asked about subscriptions, while technically I don’t accept any of those, I will make another mailing list announcing each record a little from before (probably w/ incomplete artwork, maybe no music) so you can make a reservation. If you want to be on that list, simply leave your e-mail in the comments are send it to me.

Anyways, thanks for the orders. If you got any opinion on the limitedness, feel free to post it in the comments. I’m going to think for a bit about what to do. Sorry for making a fuzz out of this, while clearly it’s of little importance. It’s just some silly music, right?

Would you feel offended if you ordered one of those 31, and i’d make 19 more? I definitly won’t make more than 50. I’m not a machine :). What to doooo…
